We are very pleased with our bright, free-flowing, newly remodeled kitchen. Vinny educated, advised and guided us through the labyrinth of possibilities of remodeling a kitchen. He listened to our needs, expectations and life style, and then proceeded to design a highly functional kitchen, optimizing the confines of the room we had and compatible with the decor of the rest of our home. Vinny has a very congenial, low-keyed presence. In a very systematic, logical manner, steeped with experience, he showed us our choices, informing us of pros and cons, utilizing the showroom displays to help us visualize the outcome, and then stepped back giving us space to make our decisions. He also recommended an excellent contractor and has cultivated a pool of highly skilled, consciencous artisans who completed the job in a timely and as un-intrusive manner as reasonably possible. Vinny and all the craftsmen who came to our home were a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend them.
This kitchen was hoping to bring in the contemporary and mix with the traditional style. Showcase Kitchens incorporated a cozy bench seat with a table across from a fireplace. The corner bench seating created a great spot to have coffee and see the beautiful views atop Simsbury Mountain. Showcase Kitchens was also able to design a place for the home owner to display her California pottery, which consisted of gorgeous bright colors. The upper glass storage was the perfect spot, without giving up too much storage in the pantries. The project included high end, commercial appliances, a full height glass tile back splash, and a peninsula with a bar refrigerator for entertaining. The project has Ultracraft Ecru colored cabinetry and mixes two granite choices, St.Cecilia and Honed Black Absolute. The full height tile back splash behind a Wolf range top and range hood really became a great focal point for this kitchen.
