Avon Home with Formal Flair

  • Style: "Illusion"

  • Client Testimonial:

I truly can't say enough good things about Showcase Kitchens. I would give them ten stars if they were offered. They were a team of incredible professionals who took great pride and care with their work - from the tiler, to the plumber, to the cabinet installer, to the electrician, to the granite experts, to the general contractor and, of course, the "clerk of the works," Vinnie Guarino of Showcase Kitchens. They were tireless workers who finished the project on time; they took incredible precautions to protect my house from dust and dirt (my house may be cleaner than it was before they began); they offered valuable suggestions which made the results better than I could have imagined, and they were polite, friendly people who I was happy to have in my home. In fact, my husband and I took a trip during the renovations and I never worried about the security of my house or the quality of their work in our absence. This trust was entirely warranted by their concerns to "do the job right". In short, we are thrilled with our new bathroom and kitchen, and would recommend Showcase Kitchens to anyone and everyone.

The contemporary home was designed with a traditional flair, since the home owner was not into the modern look. Showcase Kitchens kept the traditional look by adding dark Cherry cabinetry mixed with warm whites. They also added roped turned legs, corbels, and arched glass cabinet doors to enhance the overall design. The client wanted the most up-to-date appliances, so Showcase fit a glass refrigerator, steam oven, convection microwave, and bar and wine refrigerator into the plans. Another great element of this kitchen was the double island layout. Instead of one massive island, Showcase was able to incorporate two islands, one for prep work, and the other for seating and entertaining.
