I truly can't say enough good things about Showcase Kitchens. I would give them ten stars if they were offered. They were a team of incredible professionals who took great pride and care with their work - from the tiler, to the plumber, to the cabinet installer, to the electrician, to the granite experts, to the general contractor and, of course, the "clerk of the works," Vinnie Guarino of Showcase Kitchens. They were tireless workers who finished the project on time; they took incredible precautions to protect my house from dust and dirt (my house may be cleaner than it was before they began); they offered valuable suggestions which made the results better than I could have imagined, and they were polite, friendly people who I was happy to have in my home. In fact, my husband and I took a trip during the renovations and I never worried about the security of my house or the quality of their work in our absence. This trust was entirely warranted by their concerns to "do the job right". In short, we are thrilled with our new bathroom and kitchen, and would recommend Showcase Kitchens to anyone and everyone.
Showcase Kitchens main goal for this small kitchen space was to maximize storage and countertop space while maintaining an open feel. The location of the refrigerator was the key. Instead of placing it at the end of the run and closing off the view to the living room, Showcase Kitchens' designers placed it a few feet in maintaining plenty of room in the corner and allowing for multifunctional countertop area to the left of the refrigerator. The white cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood floors, and subway tile keep this space bright and make for a classic and timeless look.
